The trailer from the Walt Disney cartoon "Mickey's
Trailer" has been recreated in full size. This film, where Mickey Mouse,
Donald Duck and Goofy are camping in the mountains in a transformable trailer,
is very well known to Swedish people, since it has been aired on television
every Christmas Eve since 1960.
In order to make the trailer come to life, this bedroom/bathroom had to be
mechanized with all sorts of magic solutions. The idea was to come as close
to the original as possible, always challenging the fact that it is a cartoon,
in two dimensions, where anything is possible. By focusing on one particular
sequence of the movie, you also get to really appreciate all the thoroughly
drawn details and the 1930s aesthetics.
